This has made me really happy. Nottingham have set up a beach in its old market square. Crazy gold, helter skelter, beach, pool, beach huts, deck chairs and cafe. Such a wicked idea i think. Nottingham are really putting themselves on the map and i think finally it might start getting more and more recognised for being a creative/innovative city. Of course i love London, its my home town but Nottingham have stepped it up.
